I need to have continous page numbering for my document. But I have had to
divide it into sections so I can have portrait and landscape pages in the
same document. How do I do this?

In Page Setup, Margins tab, there is an option by which you can apply the
orientation to selected pages, but I have never tried doing this. Might it
be easier to make each section a separate document? You can set the page
numbering for each sub-document to begin with the appropriate page number.

Make sure the Format Page Number in each section is set to "Continue from
previous section." This is the default, so you should not be having a
problem unless you have restarted numbering at some point.
