!Zero Divide Error by cottage6
I'm getting a divide by zero error using this formula =B3/C3. I read the response from Doug Robbins saying to type the formula directly into the table cell; the formula in the response was { IF { SUM (C3:E3) } = 0 0 { = F3/SUM{C3:E3) } }, using Ctrl + F9 for each set of field brackets. I tried...

"Heading Row Repeat" didn't by jay M
in Word XP (under Win 2K) I had a doc with several tables where the "Heading Row Repeat" didn't. I checked and re-applied the setting, no joy. The tables were not in floating frames or anything 'funny'. The tables were created by copying the header row from one table, pasting it into the text...

"Invisible" shading (i.e., non-printable?) in table cells? by StargateFanFromWork
Don't know what this would be called but in a table that I have, I have locked certain cells in certain columns that correspond to non-printable areas of a label template. As the label template doesn't somehow signal what is printable and what is not, I made the label sheet into a form and locked...

"out of paper" error when there is paper by Chuck
I'm trying to print a mail-merge document, which is why I came to the "table" group. When I try, even if it's only a single page, I get an "out of paper" error even though the active printer does have paper loaded. In the Control Panel *all* the LPT1 printers set up have the same "out of paper"...

$$$$$make tons of cash EASY$$$$$ by [email protected]
What is $5 and 15 minutes when it can make you earn $100,000 ? Not much, if you ask me... You've probably seen a lot of those kind of messages over forums and newsgroups, and the explanation for this can be given in two words: IT WORKS! But how on earth, will you ask me, does it actually works?...

Hi. I have a few questions that I hope someone can assist me with. Please excuse me if these have been asked and answered before... 1) I have some long tables than span two or three pages. I want the word "continued" on subsequent pages but not the first page. I also don't want the...

"Allow row to break across page" - can't select/deselect this? by faerie_bel
Can anyone tell me why my table properties won't allow me to check the feature "Allow row to break across page"? I have a particularly large table and I want the row contents to continue across a number of pages. At the moment, when I reach the bottom of the row, text is continuing beyond the...

"Allow row to break across page" will truncate some content. by [email protected]
If the content of a table cell is more than one page and "Allow row to break across page" is unchecked in MS WORD 2000, the content over the cell will not be shown on screen and the printout will be truncated as well. Any suggestion to get rid of it ?

"automatic" AutoSum - can I insert a button? by klerner
I am trying to update a performance review form for my office. One section requires managers to input the percent of time spent on each job duty by the employee. The departments want the bottom of the column to add up the percentages so they don't have to figure out if the numbers they've...

"Conditional Formatting" of Word Table Cell by MaxArk[_4_]

"Cont'd" in repeat table headers HELP by Karen VM
I was thrilled when I found the posts regarding how to include "Cont'd" in repeat table headers and not have "Cont'd" show up in the TOC. I started to revise all our content shells at work, but before I got too far, I decided to do some testing. My major concern was that a PDF rendition would...

"Hanging letters" cut off in table by John F.H.
Using Word 2003. I have very limited space in a Word table, where the rows must be 0.09 in height, and the font must be Ariel 7. The hanging portion of lower-case letters, such as g, j, and y, are being cut off at the bottom. I've tried "raising" the font, aligning the cell to the top, even...

"Preferred width" in macro, among other things. by bookend
Hi, I’m using Word 2000. I had developed a beautiful “book” (essentially many images with text detail) that I decided I would rather have in A5 format, printing on A4. This, of course, introduced a whole host of problems because the original, that had initially been one long table and then was...
