Word 2003: Including indent in table style by oceanclub2
I'm using Word 2003, and have a problem where even if I manually set an indent on a table, it will at some point move back to the default position. I want to make sure that the indent is set permanently. I've tried editing the style of the table, and setting the value for "Indent from Left" in...

Text moving automatically to next cell by Jupe
How do you prevent cells in table from expanding with the text within that cell? Is there any way to have it automatically go to next cell while typing, and not having to TAB?

Expanding Cells by kaalkire
I have set up a table and when I type into the cell, the cell expands to accommodate the text. Is there a way to fix the size of the cell so that instead of the cell expanding, the text will go to the next cell?

List to multi-column table, sorted down instead of across by wal
Word 2003 I have a long alphabetized list of words. I want to put them in a four-column table so as not to waste space. If I "Convert from text to table," the list ends up being alphabetized across the rows. I'd it to be alphabetized down the first column, then continue in the second column,...

Added another row above table & rest of table moved to next page by Rosewood
Further to above... even tho there is plenty of room for this single row addition, it still pushed the rest of the table onto a new page, so I have one line on the first page, then the rest of the table on the second page.

Word 2003: Paragraph style used in table changes unexpectedly by NellieNobody
I am in the process of copyediting numerous Word 2003 docs based on a terrible template (There is *nothing* I can do about that!) and edited by two or more software developers (I could go into a rant here about software developers not understanding what tech writers do for a living, but I'll try to...
