Two page 1's by Laurel[_2_]
I have two page 1's in a document that I am working with but did not originate. Any idea how that could happen? I have never worked with sections, but if sections start numbering over again, this document should not have sections. Anyway, I don't know how to figure out if sections are...

Why don't vertical margins show? by Laurel[_2_]
For some reason, the view I now have in Word 2007 for a particular document does not display the top and bottom margins. That is, the text starts at the very top of the Word page, and goes all the way to the bottom. This is in the "print layout" view. If I choose "Full screen reading," the...

Vertical ruler vs margins? by Laurel[_2_]
I have a document, which I did not originate, where the vertical ruler shows a two inch "inactive" section at the top (colored, where white part begins two inches down). But when I click "Page Layout"/Margins, it shows a .6 inch top margin. How do "margins" relate to the ruler setting?

Arrow Shapes Word 07 by Wooster
Hi I've used Word 2003 for years. I could always insert an arrow into the text, and use it to point to an illustration. (I write instruction books.) I could always right click on the arrow and select 'edit points' to bend the arrow sharply. If I do the same with Word 2007, (Insert / Shapes...

Simple text fields in 2007 by Becky
I use many Word 2003 documents that have multiple text fields. You know, the grey ones you can tab to and from quite easily to enter information that is unique to the project you are working on. Well, how do I unlock the document for editing without losing those fields in 2007 In 2003, I would...
