How can you print all documents in a mail merge? by
BLJ
When I complete a mail merge, each merge letter is indicated as page 1 of 1.
When I issue a print command, only the current record is printed.
I want to print all the records I have merged.
How is this done?

Looking for a nice XML merge example. by
Albert D. Kallal
Does anyone have an example, or "link" to a xml merge example for word?
What I am looking for is the "classic" invoice, or "repeating" data type
merge.
That means you have some single fields like Address, Name, Company, and then
you have a set of repeating fields:
PackageName Qty ...

suppress invalid merge field word 2003 by
Mike
My users had created several generic mail merge documents in Word 97, now we
have upgraded to Office 2003. Remember, these are generic mail merge
documents - not every field is used for every merge
On 97, if there mail merge field was not used for this particular merge, the
document printed fine....

Remove Rows from a Table after merging by
Kevin L
Hi Cindy,
The datarow from the merge isn't the problem.
The problem is that I want to display the results of the merge in a table.
Since I cannot add (or delete) Table rows dynamically to match the merge
(that I know of), I am stuck with having a fixed set of Table Rows. Which
means that I will...

How do I format a phone number in a mail merge? by
Kristyn
My data source is an Access query. The phone # is formated correctly in the
query, but when merged into a Word doc it looses it's formatting. Instead of
this:
(206) 860-1400,
I get this:
2068601400
Thanks for your ideas - Kristyn

No ZIP in Mail Merge by
[email protected]
My once-a-year bout with mail merge seems a lot easier with Office 2002 with
one problem. I got nice address labels for my Christmas cards. The only
thing missing is the ZIP or Postal Code. From every darned label! When I
was going through the wizard I made sure that everybody had a ZIP Code. ...

Merging data into two locations on a page by
LG of Louisville
Hi,
I'm trying to merge data into two places on a page. What I need to do is to
have a row 1 go to Area 1, then row 2 go to Area 2, row 3 go to Area 1, row 4
go to Area 2, etc. It's like a label, but my document isn't a label.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
LG

I have a mail merge to do that creates form letters for everyone at my
