Anne-

Thanks. I did what it said, and I got the Insert Field Names button on the
toolbar, however...

When I open the Master Document (template?) I get a message saying
database
source name is not found, and no default driver was specified. So, I click
OK
and then click on find datasource.

When I select the datasource, it asks me to select a table. But what I see
are really fields from a table. I can only select one of them, not the
entire
table. (Which I can do in Word97)

It takes me back to my document, and clicking on Insert Field Names, only
brings up the one field I selected in the step above, whereas in Word97, I
can see all of the fields.

Please help.

Thanks,

Marty

Not sure how to explain it, but I'll try.

In Word97 (or Word2000), when I connect to datasource, the entire list
of
data fields display, so I can put them in the template for the mail
merge.

But, in Word2003, I can only select 1 field. How do I get the entire
list
to
display, so I can put several fields into the template?

Thanks for your help.
