Default Mail merge in Word doesnt work, how to set up temp directory file

I used mail merge in Word. When I want to create a NEW RECIPIENT there it
says there is no TEMP Directory File.

Please quote the exact message you're seeing, and describe the steps you're
doing when it appears. Also tell us
- the version of Word
- what type of data source you're using (if you don't know, tell us the
steps you follow to access the data)
