Default Default Font Setting

This could conceivably result from a combination of two factors: (a) the
document is based on the Normal.dot template and (b) the Normal.dot template
on the second machine is set to "Automatically update document styles."

It is my understanding that the default setting for Word 2003 is that a
document will open up on any machine in the font it is created in.

However,
I have a Word 2003 document I created that is inheriting the default font

of
whatever PC it is being opened at.

Does anyone know why this is happening?
