Default How do I lock borders in a table in Word?

I assume that it is the width of the columns that you want to fix. To do
that, from the Tables menu, select Properties and then click on Options on
the Table tab of the Table Properties dialog and uncheck the box against
"Automatically resize to fit contents"

I want to create a table in Word and type without the grid lines and
borders
moving to make my lessons plans for school. My headings and cells move as
I
type.
