Default Change number of column in an individual cell in a table

JeffH was telling us:
JeffH nous racontait que :

My table has three columns, however I want to insert a row underneath
a row with no columns. Subsequent rows should default back to 3
columns.

I'm looking in Table Properties, but not finding my answer.

Insert two rows (Row1 and Row2).
Select all the cells in Row1.
Right-Click on the selected cells.
In the menu that pops up, select "Merge Cells".

You should probably display the "Tables and Borders" toolbar where you will
find all the commands you need for formatting tables (Like merge cells):
View menu Toolbars.
