Default Troubleshooting Get Started Add-in Tab

I installed the Getting Started Add-in to see if it worked for me and it
does. It displays without any additional intervention.

Do you have any other add-ins installed? (Aside from the SmartTags and
Document Inspector) I'm wondering if there's a conflict with another add-in.

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.

I'm having the same problem right down to the revisit and finding the box
unckedked. I hope an MVP person jumps in.

I installed the "Get Started Tab" add-in for Word, but it does not
display in
the ribbon. I checked the add-ins under options and it *is* in the list
as
mscoree.dll.

So I went to "Manage Com add-ins" and it is in the list but the box
wasn't
selected.
I selected the box and closed the window, but upon visiting that screen
again, the box is unchecked.

Am I doing something wrong? I can't figure this out.
