Default HOW DO I DELETE FILES IN MS OFFICE- WORD 2007

i 'm sorry i'm not doing this right but i will get it right. i use xp-sp2
with office 2007 and when i click on the MS office button i get a list of
recent documents. i would like to delete some of them

Can you describe what you're doing and what happens? As long as a file is
not open or otherwise protected against deletion/change, you should have no
problem deleting it either from any of the File dialogs in Word, or using
Windows Explorer.
