Yes, it's very frustrating, and it is almost certainly the fault of the
printer driver, but so far no printer mfr. has been willing to take
responsibility.

Thank and that worked for my color printer because I have it set up

through a
standard tcp/ip port. However; this solution would not work for network
printers because I cannot access the advanced tab in the properties of the
printer therefore not allowing me to change from spollong to direct. :-(
