Default Dictionaries in MS WORD

No, but you could instead create an Exclusion Dictionary wich you can use to
negate any words from the default dictionary (or any dictionary for that
matter).
See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/general/ex...ordfromdic.htm for details on
how to and where to create this Exclusion Dictionary. This webpage does not
cover 2007 but I am sure the process is exactly the same only the destination
will be different.
This Exclusion Dictionary is very useful and can be used not only to negate
incorrect spellings for words (ie the American vs. UK) but also to negate
those words that are allowed in both languages but you would prefer not to go
into your documents, ie. swear words, etc.
Hope this helps

Is there any way to deselect the main dictionary in Word so that it only uses
a custom dictionary? Alternatively, can a custom dictionary be turned into a
main dictionary so that it can be selected under Languages?
