That is what will happen if the White Space at the top of the document is
hidden. Move the mouse cursor to the top of the page until the shape of
the cursor changes to two vertically opposed arrows and then double click
with the left mouse button.
Alternatively, Click on the Office button and then on Word Options in the
bottom border and then on Display and check the box for "Show whtie space
between pages in Print Layout view"
