Default Calibri font gone from Word 2003

Thanks for the response and info. However, they have us so locked down here
at work we can't even do a Scan Disk let alone download and/or install
anything. I'm waiting for my IT department to get back to me to re-install
the Compatibility Pack.

See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=923505 "How to install the
Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack so that you can use earlier
versions of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to open and to save files
from 2007 Office programs".

It was a different computer but we have never had Word/Office 2007 on our
computers at work. But IT did at some point install a tool to convert Word
2007 documents (docx) so that we could open them wih Word 2003. This may be
how I had Calibri as a font a couple of months ago ?? And actually I was
looking for that tool not too long ago but couldn't find it on this computer.
So I'll follow up with my IT department about having that tool re-installed
and see if Calibri reappears. Thanks!

Calibri is a Word/Office 2007 font. Were you using the same
computer 2 months ago? If it's the same computer, then maybe you
uninstalled Word/Office 2007 after you created your document? If
it's not the same computer, then maybe the Office 2007
compatibility pack (which includes Office 2007 fonts) was
installed on the computer from 2 months ago?

I created a Word 2003 document ~2 months ago using the Calibri font. I am
now revising it, but the Calibri font is no longer available in the dropdown
list of fonts to select. Does anyone know what could have happened to
it...why it no longer appears in the dropdown list?
Thanks,
Cheryl
