Default Sending a fax from Word 2007 using PC modem

My reply assumed that you had been able to use fax on this PC with an
earlier version of Word as implied in your question.

There is no fax function in *any* Word version. Word simply uses whatever
fax software is installed. It seems that you have no such software installed
on your PC. If you have Windows XP you can add it by re-running setup from
the add or remove programs applet. Later versions of Windows may not include
fax software (certainly not the Home versions of Vista) so for those you
would have to add third party fax software.

Unfortunately I am unable to find any way to "print" to FAX using Word
2007
as I could in previous versions.

There is no FAX option listed under "printers".

I'd love it if you could tell me how to do it.

http://www.gmayor.com/fax_from_word.htm is aimed at previous Word
versions,
but the principle remains the same.

like before with Word 2003, does anyone have any ideas on this.

Thanks
