Hi OfficeCrazy

The file structure for Word hasn't changed since Word 97. You can open a
Word 2003 document in Word 2002, Word 2000 or Word 97 without problems,
except for new functionality. For example, Word 97 couldn't do nested
tables, so it can't display a document created in Word 2003 that has nested
tables.

Use the box at Tools Options Save "Disable features introduced after"
to prevent saving things that old versions of Word can't read.

But in the end, you can only be 100% certain with testing on your own
documents.

Hope this helps.

Does anyone "out there" have a documented to test document compatibility
in
Word 97 / XP / 2003? If you do not have a document yourself, which you
could
email me, do you know of any websites, etc. Thanks ever so much.
