This feature was introduced in Word 2000, but it is also offered by some
printer drivers (through the printer Properties).

The easiest way to do this is to just format your 8.5x11 page, then tell
the
printer to print it "2 up" (two pages per sheet) in the File | Print
dialog.
Not all printers allow this, but spend some time in the dialog looking for
it. That should print headers/footers for both pages.

To avoid wasting paper, I want to two 7" X5.5" pages on one 8.5" X 11"
paper,
complete with headers and footers (two of the same page). In printer's
jargon, it's called "2 up". There is no way I can do that and include
the
headers and footers of both pages. Is there a way to do that?
