This is something that I've never heard about before. What type
of style is this "Char Char..." thing? Is it a character style? If so,
have you tried to select the paragraphs where it is applied and then
to press Ctrl+SpaceBar (which should remove it from text)?

The rogue style in my document does not look like that, it's just
"Char"

Anyway, as far as I can tell, the macro fixes the problem for the
Heading 2 style, only. It would have to be modified for the other

Normal, Caption, etc. ALL show this style. If I were to use
