When I said "sav[ing] in the new (or Normal) template," I meant that I was
saving a document (*.doc), using the referenced template (*.dot). All of my
files and templates are in their correct locations, and no document has been
saved as a template, or vice-versa.

The issue with the warning message I received appears to have to do with
AutoText entries and/or Add-Ins. I understand AutoText a bit, and have used
it rarely. On the other hand, I don't have any experience with Add-Ins.
