Default How to create math graphs and geometric figures?

I'm trying to write a math workbook for students, SAT type
questions. Unfortunately, I've run into some trouble drawing
graphs and creating triangles with angle measures. I know
the MSW has a draw feature, but I was hoping for a program
such as MathType, an easy to use plugin. Drawing the shapes
and using text boxes seems extremely time consuming.

Andy, it is indeed time-consuming, but that's exactly what I did
when I was teaching high school math. MathType, as you
discovered, isn't intended for drawings and likely never will be.
It can create a blank grid for students to graph on (see the
tutorial at www.dessci.com/tutorials). If you don't want to use
Word's drawing tools, I suggest trying the Peanut Software apps.
There are 10 of them, and they're all free, and updated often. I
don't know the URL, but do a Google search for "Peanut Software".
It's something like ...exeter.edu.uk...
