When I double click on an existing document, or a shortcut to a document,
Word 2003 opens, but the document does not open within word. If I double
click on the document with Word open, the document opens find. A similar
situation occurs from Outlook. If a double click on an attached *.doc it
opens word but does not open the document. Instead, it tells me that "the
system cannot find the file specified. When I click on the attachment again,
with Word already open, the attachment opens fine. Does anyone have any
ideas what has caused thsi? We have done a detect and repair and also
uninstalled and re-installed Word 2003 but continue to get the same results.
