I am using word 2002. The border neither shows by hiding gridlines nor in
print preview. However, as you said it prints alright.

I was mislead by the print preview.

Thanks.

I'm not seeing that here (in Word 2003). Do you have table gridlines
displayed? What happens if you hide them or go to Print Preview? My
experience is that the table gridlines hide the border, but it is still
there and will print.

I have added paragraph border to a text in a table cell. If the text is
aligned bottom, the bottom paragraph border is suppressed, even though

there
is no cell border applied. Similar behavior is noted when the text is
aligned top and a paragraph border is applied to the top. Only if the

text
is aligned in the middle, the paragraph borders are visible.

Is there any way around this? Will appreciate any help.
