Thanks

Notice the two double arrowheads and circle at the bottom of the vertical
scrollbar. The arrows are the same as the Ctrl+Page Up or Down keys. When
you first start Word, the arrows and keys are assigned to the Page Up and
Page Down functions.

If you click the circle between the arrows, a flyout menu shows various
things you can browse to: page, section, table, picture, etc. When you
select one of those, the arrows and keys change function to go to the next
or previous one of the thing you selected. The arrows turn blue to indicate
that change.

One of the browse items is Find. When you do a Find or a Replace, Word
automatically assigns the arrows and keys to Find Previous and Find Next.
That lets you search through the document without having the dialog
obscuring the page.

To change back, click the circle and choose the page item.
