Forgot to mention version - I'm using Word 2000

Alternatively, if there's a way to edit the page
numbering
so that it increments by halves, so I'd see 1, 2, 3, 4...
on the right and .5, 1.5, 2.5... on the left, that would
work too.

Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to type in
page numbers manually to get this accomplished.
