Goodness! What a lot of work! And since each line of text still has to be an
entity (you can't wrap and flow text in the diagram), you haven't really
gained anything over using paragraph indents or just centering the paragraph
and using line breaks.

You can insert the Pyramid Diagram (from the Diagram Gallery on the

Drawing
Toolbar). You then add sufficient lines, so that each section of pyramid
becomes just about one line (of text) high. Remove the Fill and Line
formatting from the Pyramid so that it becomes 'hidden' and hey presto!

Add
you're justified text line by line and what you have looks like pyramid of
text. Works either way up too.
