Hmm, I believe combining hidden and red like that has been discussed earlier
in the newsgroups (it could be years ago). It's not a bad idea, assuming
that everyone who edits a document is aware of it, of course!

¶ is a paragraph mark, which indicates that you have nonprinting marks
displayed. You can hide them by pressing the ¶ (Show/Hide) button on the
Standard toolbar (Word 2003) or on the ribbon (Word 2007).
Text in red could indicate that someone inadvertently formatted the text
in red color. However, if inserted text is underlined and deleted text is
marked with a strikethrough, it is likely that Track Changes has been
turned on. In Word 2007, you can turn it off by clicking Review tab |
Track Changes | Track Changes. Then click Accept | Accept All Changes in
