Default how can we add a preview of a template when we open a new file

Note, however, that every document based on the template will have a preview
by default, and this adds greatly to the file size.

Open the template and in the Properties dialog, check the 'Save Preview
Picture' check box.

Word up to 2003 - File Properties
Word 2007 Office Button Prepare Properties Advanced Properties

Add a character to the text space. Delete it then save the template.
