I'm using Word 2000 on XP Home. When I send a fax, the Fax Wizard
opens up and wants me to choose a custom coversheet. I do not want
that option. The reason is that even when I click NO, I wind up with
extra files and folders in my Documents.

I have a Fax Template in Word that I use.

How can I kill off the Fax Wizard's coverpages option?
