Default How do I get rid of "ghost" comment markers in a document?

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi there,

I've solved it! If you press the "show editing marks" button, the empty
comment will show up next to the "ghost" comment mark, and you can then
right-click that comment and delete it. That option isn't available unless
edition marks are visible.

Thanks anyway,

Karen.

I'm working on a Word document where various parties are inserting

tracked
changes and comments. There are some places in the document where a

character
appears that looks like a comment marker, but there is no comment

there.
The
character doesn't get copied if I mark the text and ctrl+c, but it

does
get
printed.

Any ideas of why this has happened and how I can get rid of it?

Thanks,

Karen.
