Hello

OS: Windows XP SP2
App: Office 2003 SP2

End users are unable to open XLS or DOC files placed on the Desktop by
Double Clicking them.

1. File Open works correctly.
2. Associations (XLS & DOC) are setup correctly.
3. Running €˜Detect & Repair does not resolve the problem.

Any suggestions or pointers to KB articles would be appreciated.
