Default How can I get the Status Bar to be visible in Word 2007?

Thanks for the suggestion. I started Word in safe mode and then saw the
bottom status bar right away. Then I closed it out and reopened normally and
now the status bar is there to see, as it should be. I don't know why or
how, but now it's there again.

So... when you right-click on the bottom of a Word document window, nothing
happens?

What happens if you start Word in Safe Mode (hold down Ctrl as Word is
starting, then click Yes to starting in safe mode)? Does the status bar show
up now?

Trust me, there is no status bar to see at all, so there is no status bar
to
right click on or anything else.

I don't think you can hide the actual status bar in Word 2007, but you
can
hide the items on it. If you right-click the status bar, you can choose
exactly what you want to show.

Several weeks ago the Status Bar disappeared from view in Word 2007.
Now
there is no zoom slider or anything else at the bottom of the screen.
I
can't find any reference to this anywhere on the internet, so I guess I
must
be the only person in the world with this problem. I just can't figure
it
out. I'm running a PC with Windows XP Home Edition. Can anyone help?
