Default Can you lock the position of graphics in a WORD document?

You're probably not in the best group for a good answer here, unless
you're trying to use Word MailMerge or you already know you need to use
Word fields to insert your images.

Although Word can help you a lot with image placement etc (probably a
lot more than I know), it may not be the simplest starting point for the
general sort of thing you describe - if for example you have MS
Publisher, that might be a better starting point for the kind of
application you describe. But it depends. For example, if you have a
layout that always occupies the same number of pages, and all the images
need to appear in exactly the same place on those pages, then you may be
able to make some headway by
a. creating a document that contains the number of pages you need
b. inserting and formatting text boxes at each point where you need an
image, paying attention to the text wrapping characteristics of each box.
c. inserting the text you need, seeing how it flows around those
images, and modifying your setup as required.

Have a brochure document with many graphic images. Is there a way to lock the
graphics, perhaps by creating some sort of template, so that they don't float
or move? And then text can be added and changed, as necessary, without
disrupting the pictures?
