Default How do I set the tool tip font in Office 2007?

Dear Herb,

Thanks for taking the time to reply, it's the typeface I am concerned about,
not so much the size. Is there any way to override the settings, because as
it id it makes it impossible for me to read my own footnotes without opening
the pane at the bottom of the screen, which cuts down the workspace?

It shouldn't be overriding the font size setting--only color and typeface.
Here, I find that the system ToolTip setting does control the size of the
tooltip font in Word 2007--but, color and typeface are ignored. Also... this
in only for tooltips in the text area, such as footnotes and comments. When
you hover the mouse over the ribbon or qat, the ToolTip font settings are
completely ignored.

It is important to me to be able to read a specialist font in the tool
tips.
This used to be available through right clicking on the desktop,
properties/Appearance/Advanced and set the tool tip in the dialogue.

It appears that Word 2007 is overiding these settings with its own
preferences. This makes it impossible to read the tool tips. How can I set
my
own prefrences?
