Default When cross-reference heading (number), words insert a '0'

Yes, I formated paragraphs with heading styles numbers and I try to hyperlink
to the paragraphs referencing by heading numbers. I'm using Word
2003(11.5604.5606)

Thanks,

hyperlink works, but no heading number, and I can't modify/edit the '0' to
the heading number either. What did I do worng?

Could you please describe more precisely what you mean by a "heading number"?
Do you mean you've formatted some paragraphs with Heading styles, and that
these are linked to AutoNumbering? Which version of Word?
