microsoft word wont open documents from my documents
Right click on the file name, choose Open with... and choose Other Programs.
Select Word and place a check in the box preceding "Always use this program
to open this kind of file."

Just installed Microsoft Office in XP. When i try to open a word document
from my documents or another folder it will not let me. Word will open

no document is shown, also when i try to open a word file that was sent to
me
as an attachment it will do the same thing. To open the file, i have to
first open microsoft word then open from there.
very annoying to have to do this.
