Default bottom bar


It's called the "status bar".

If you have Word 2003 or earlier, go to Tools Options View and check the
option for "Status bar".

If you have Word 2007, there's no similar option because the status bar
should always be visible. If it's missing, see
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErr...ngMenusEtc.htm. If you need to
delete the Data key as described there, the one for Word 2007 is
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\W ord\Data
