Default Changing Column Divider Line Color

Word has always worked this way (this procedure allows you to assign
different colors, styles, or weights to the respective borders of a cell or
paragraph), but column borders in tables are not the same thing as the "line
between columns" in newspaper-style columns.

I changed the font color for my entire document, however I can't figure
out
how to change the column divider lines in that document. Help! :-)
Thanks!

Okay I figured it out. There's actually an error in the program. When you
go to borders and shadings and change the color or size. Nothing will get
changed. What you have to do is change whatever color or size you want for
the border, then go over to where it says preview and click on the button
that disable/enable the borders. You will see that once you disable then
enable the border line in the preview, the color will change. This looks
like some kind of bug that needs to be reported.
