I used table numbering in large document, and I deleted a table about 1/2 way
through the document. Although the List of Tables TOC updates, the individual
table numbers didn¤=3Ft update. Do I have to go to every table in the doc from
the deletion point forward and press F9 to update the table number, or is
there some other trick to this that I don¤=3Ft know about?

Ctrl+A to select the entire document, then F9 to update all fields.
