Default hyphenated word grouping

Unfortunately, there isn't a nonbreaking en dash (though this is something I
also would like to see), and a nonbreaking hyphen (as Daiya suggested) is
not what you want. I have found, however, that in many fonts the minus
character (U2212) is virtually identical to an en dash, and it *is*
nonbreaking.
