Default Formatting of text in table changed by itself

Obviously, the "Bulleted" and "List Bullet" paragraphs are going to have
bullets by default. And yes, you're smart to avoid master docs unless you
use them very cautiously.

The style is "bulleted" for most, and "list bullet" for others. One even

says
"normal". After checking your link, I think I will stop using the master
document.

Thanks for your response!

Hi there,

I use tables to get sentences in a foreign language lined up with

their
translation, so that every cell contains one word, with its English
counterpart right under it.

After inserting a document containing such tables as a subdocument in

a
master document, and making headings for the titles of chapters and

sections,
the tables magically look a lot different: each cell now contains a

bullet.
Is there a quick way to remove all these uninvited bullets without

removing
one by one?

I tried selecting the table and clicking a different style, but that

does
not work. "clear formatting" works, but I would rather not do that.

Thanks,

Janneke
