Default index entries as bookmarks?

Hi ?B?SmFuQWRhbQ==?=,

It is possible to use existing index entries in a Word 2K document as
bookmarks to create links to jump to? Say, there are a number of index
entries in the document for an index. I would like to jump to the places
specified by the entries not from the index but from the table of content, or
from anywhere in the document. What to read to find more?

There's nothing built into Word that would support this. Nothing to stop you
from putting bookmarks at these positions, but nothing in Word to help you.

Likely, you could use a macro to locate the XE fields and insert bookmarks. But
you'd have to work out some way to label them?
