Answer: How do you put cubed or squared after a number
- Type the number you want to add the superscript to.
- Place your cursor where you want the superscript to appear.
- On the Home tab in the Ribbon, click on the Superscript button (it looks like an "x" with a raised "1").
- Type the superscript number or symbol you want to add (e.g. 3 for cubed or 2 for squared).
Alternatively, you can use keyboard shortcuts to add superscripts:
- For a cubed symbol, type the number you want to cube, then press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "=" (equals sign) on your keyboard. This will turn the number into a superscript and add the "3" symbol.
- For a squared symbol, type the number you want to square, then press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "2" on your keyboard. This will turn the number into a superscript and add the "2" symbol.
