Thumbs up Answer: Why does space bar delete text instead of moving it?

The space bar is designed to insert a blank space between words or characters, not to move text. If you want to move text, you need to use the cut and paste function. Here's how to do it:
  1. Select the text you want to move by clicking and dragging your cursor over it.
  2. Press "Ctrl + X" or right-click and select "Cut" to remove the text from its original location.
  3. Place your cursor where you want to move the text to.
  4. Press "Ctrl + V" or right-click and select "Paste" to insert the text at the new location.

Alternatively, you can also use the drag and drop method to move text. Here's how:
  1. Select the text you want to move by clicking and dragging your cursor over it.
  2. Click and hold the left mouse button on the selected text.
  3. Drag the text to the new location.
  4. Release the mouse button to drop the text at the new location.

Remember, the space bar is not meant to move text, so if you accidentally delete text while using it, you can use the undo function by pressing "Ctrl + Z" or clicking the undo arrow in the toolbar.
