Thank you very much. You were most helpful. Now my TOC is exactly the way it
should be. I'm not familar with section breaks therefore - at this point -
hate them immensely, but I need to keep practicing to become more
comfortable/knowledgeable. Thanks again.

likely this is causing your problem. Make sure the insertion point

click Header and Footer. On the Header/Footer toolbar, click the
Format Page Number button. Word displays the Page Number Format
