Hi Stefan

Thank you very much. You were most helpful. Now my TOC is exactly the way it
should be. I'm not familar with section breaks therefore - at this point -
hate them immensely, but I need to keep practicing to become more
comfortable/knowledgeable. Thanks again.

Of course, you'll have to update the TOC in order to see your changes!
(You can right-click the TOC field and choose to "Update Field" or,
with the cursor inside the TOC, press F9 on your keyboard.)

Since page numbering can be restarted after a section break, most
likely this is causing your problem. Make sure the insertion point

is
in the section where the problematic heading is. On the View menu,
click Header and Footer. On the Header/Footer toolbar, click the
Format Page Number button. Word displays the Page Number Format

dialog
box. Is "Start At" set to zero? If it is, change this to the
appropriate value or, if you simply want numbering to continue from
the previous section, make sure you select the "Continue from

previous
section" option. Click OK to close the Page Number Format dialog

box.
Click Close on the toolbar to return to the main document.

Does this fix the problem?

I have a really messy (possessed) document. I copied alot of the

contents
from other outside source and they used section breaks instead of

page breaks
throughout. That being said, my Table of Contents shows one of the

items
being on page 0.

How do I correct this?
