Can't figure out why all the boxes in a lengthy form are already checked when
document is opened - but only on computer with older version of WORD.
Can't figure it out, either, based on this little bit of information. If you'd
care to supplement your question with things like the versions of Word involved
and what kind of checkboxes these are, perhaps someone will have an idea...
