Default Jagged Red or Green lines show up on some documents

Hi Jay,

When I right-click on them (as I have always done), my program shuts down!
I now have office 2003 professinal. This didn't happen with office 98 or
office 2000. Any ideas?

THanks!

The red lines indicate spelling errors, and the green lines indicate
grammar errors. For a full explanation, ask the Help about "wavy
lines" and select the topic "What do the underlines in my document
mean?"

To hide them, right-click the book icon in the status bar (bottom of
the window) and click "Hide spelling errors" and "Hide grammatical
errors". To stop them altogether, go to Tools Options Spelling &
Grammar and uncheck both "Check spelling as you type" and "Check
grammar as you type".

It might be better, though, to leave the lines enabled and pay
attention to what they indicate. Word's spelling and grammar tools
aren't perfect, but most people aren't perfect and can use their
assistance.

Words that are correctly spelled but not recognized (proper names,
jargon, uncommon words) can be added to your custom dictionary. The
grammar tool is less flexible and more often wrong.
