Default How do you delete a blank page in the middle of a word document?

Kathy,
Some easy things to look at first – if you go into
“Normal” view. An ordinary page break that Word has put in
shows as a line of dots.
• you will be able to easily see if you have a manual page break
next to an ordinary page break (there will be a line of dots with the
word “Page break”). If you have, put the cursor on the
line and press delete to get rid of it.
• You might have a deliberate section break starting on an odd
(or even) page
• If you just see two ordinary page breaks together you will have
to search for a reason. eg. If you have two lines of dots together
followed by a header, then it’s possible that you have naturally
come to the end of a page but have a header which is preceded by a page
throw.
If the page breaks are widely separated you could have any number of
‘invisible’ characters – including carriage returns
– all of these should delete normally. If you go into Tools,
Options, View and tick “All” in formatting marks you will
be able to see them
Yours
Sandra
