If you intend to print the document you should be aware that the vast
majority of printers cannot print white. They print 'white' by leaving space
and thus by setting the background to black they print the black parts. This
uses an inordinate amount of ink. Most printers cannot print to the edge of
the paper, thus leaving a white border, so white on black should be reserved
for small areas of emphasis.
